Controlling Always On Tuners Remotely

With the version 7 release your Always On radios acting in managed mode can be controlled remotely by another radio acting in manager mode. You can also operate a radio independently when it is in unmanaged mode. Remotely controlled or managed radios will recognize changes to Channel Selection, Favorites, Access Level, and Access List. The Access Types are set in the tuner options menu.

Managed When you set the access type to Managed the radio will listen for changes made by another radio with the same owner whose access type is Manager.
Manager When you set the access type to Manager the radio will broadcast changes to all other Managed radios with the same owner.
Unmanaged When you set the access type to Unmanaged the radio will act independently of other radios with the same owner.

When you make a new channel selection on a controller radio all managed radios with the same owner will mirror the change. This allows you to make all the parcels you own play the same radio station.

When you change the access level to Group, Locked, or Unlocked on a controller radio, all managed radios with the same owner will also change its access type. To maintain some level of control over your unmanaged radios it may be advisable to use the Locked or Group access levels.

When you add or delete manager or operator users with a controller radio the update is broadcast to Managed radios with the same owner. In this way DJs and guests, or renters can be allowed to operate a managed radio.

When you add or remove a favorite channel with a radio in Manager mode it will broadcast the new list of favorite channels to all managed radios with the same owner.
